Cashmere Goats

Bristol Yarnworks Studio cashmere goats are raised on high mountain pastures and have been selectively bred over many years for cashmere fineness, length, density, and style. This top quality fiber is hand-combed from the goats once a year in January. The cashmere is then de-haired and cleaned, carded and spun into the finest of yarns by a specialty mill, or hand-spun by Teri. This yarn is the basis for the designer originals of the Cashmere Collection.
